Quite new in town (open since December 5th) Bar Wolkers! It’s a lunchroom where you can also get breakfast or an afternoon drink. I can be really short about this: the place looks fantastic!! With different types of art and a touch of retro (so in love with that seventies couch!) versus industrial elements.
The atmosphere is great!! It feels like a cosey living room but is on the other hand very light and spacious. The food is delicious!! A wide variety of salads, soups, breads and even things for the little ones. And… the staff is nice too!! (and gorgeous ;-))
While writing this down I see on their Facebookpage they offer entertainment too. This weekend (1-2-14) Casey Shey, a singersongwriter from Brooklyn (doesn’t ring a bell to me.. but sounds nice).
So, if you are into a little (or big) break, or you feel like you want to get your laptop running elsewhere… I surely recommend Wolkers.
